Unicorns and fairies

Post by tamarielpaints on Fri Apr 08, 2011 7:30 pm

I got a phone call from someone about birthday parties. She wanted to know if I can make fairies and unicorns.

I found a TON of good stuff on the forum for fairies (the tink thread is AWESOME!) but not too much on the unicorns. So...how? Freehand? Stencil?
TIA!

Heather has a video and does a nice simple little unicorn, similar to Kristal's. She breaks it down nicely in the video.

This one is from a while ago before I got the hang of a horse head, but you get the idea. Inspired by a design in a book - can't remember which one sorry!

There was also an entire challenge on Unicorns if you look back through them. Good luck!

Kristal - is it ok if I poach that idea?
Perry - that mask ROCKS!
Shannon - pardon my ignorance, what's an SBS?
Punky - LOVE the full unicorn!
Eva and Metina - found it. Thanks.

Here are some I've done:

They're not great, but I find looking at a lot of different photos will inspire me to come up with something of my own or combine parts of this and that.
