Paradise Mettalics

I have heard horrible things about the Paradise Metallic line....
Still, the cherry bomb red looks SO good and I REALLY want it for a metallic split cake I am going to make
The rest of the colors that I would be putting in this spiltcake are from wolfe

Cherry Bomb Red Paradise <---
Metallic Orange (wolfe)
Metallic Yellow(wolfe)
Metallic Green (wolfe)
Metallic Blue (wolfe)
Metallic Purple (wolfe)

sad part is that wolfe's "red" is really rose, which is pink. I have it, I like it, but not for this split cake.

So here is my question......

How horrible will the Paradise Cherry Bomb red (metallic red) treat me when I try to cut it up.
I have heard that it is very powdery and hard to cut up...
Should I not even attempt it? Or is it dooable to some degree?
should I just put a regular non-metallic red from wolfe instead? (I really want that stupid cherry bomb red)
