Christina Davidson Butterfly

Post by Denise Cold on Wed Dec 07, 2011 9:21 pm

I want to have Christina Davidson's babies...or at least bake her some cookies or something....

I painted this tonight, inspired by her butterfly photos from the Texas State Fair (I had problems with the symmetry...she painted them on one eye...now I know better.) I want to get her out to Utah sometime.

I LOVE IT! My mug doesn't do the design justice but I can't wait to try it on someone.

Thought I should stick it on this thread so all the flutters are in one place. Smile

D.

I too love the gold butterfly by Linda, the blue butterfly by AmberMarie, the blue one by Perry Noia, the orange and purple one by SuzySparkles, and the first one by wmeventservices...these are so beautiful!

Denise -
I LOVE IT! I just stuck it in my inspiration file. I'm assuming that's pearl/metallic silver with black and white for linework?

You can't see it very well because of the flash but it's TAG pearl white with the blue pearl blended in at the edges and pearl black for the outlines. I want to keep practicing it, her style is so simple yet fabulous...flawless line work so I figure if I shoot for the stars...

She likes to use Snaz white for bases because it's easy to blend but I the TAG pearl white worked really well.
