Orlando jam? Anyone?

Post by cbryant25 on Tue Apr 26, 2011 3:06 pm

So I'v been painting for about four years, and I'v gone this long without ever going to a paint jam! Can we fix this? Open to ANY ideas.

FABAIC is in orlando and you can just go to the jams.. they are $25. but i think that we (people near orlando) should start getting together once a month for jams.. I think that would be super awesome

A couple have suggested it. I am in orlando as well, and would be open to it. Let's see what we can do.

I am very much looking forward to FABAIC!

I would love to do it, and was trying to organize it, but haven't had time to research a place to have it that's close to everyone. I'm in Apopka. If we have enough people interested and if we can find a place to do it, I'd be more than happy to organize it all.

I was thinking of something ongoing Monthly, like a Wednesday night or soemthing like that.

I was thinking of a restaurant maybe with like a backroom. The Perkin's by me in Apopka has a back room with doors. Not sure how comfortable people would be in someone's home. Any other suggestions are welcome.

That is the challenge with Orlando.... It is SO spread out. I am on the Sea world side of town, so downtown is sort of in the middle and most appealing to me, but we know how it is when we live here.... Ya drive! Wink

See, I thought that the Perkins in Altamonte would be perfect, but they don't have a side room for parties, whereas the Perkin's near me does. Not sure if there are any other restaurants in the area would be good.

Okay guys. I've got a place secured in Altamonte Springs. I am renting an office and we have use of conference rooms anytime. Let's see what interest we have, I personally prefer Tuesday or Wednesday Evenings. Let me know what you guys think! I'm so looking forward to getting this going.
