Peter Pan mask
A mother requested that I do a Peter Pan mask for her sons party this Saturday. I don't know how to approach it. I did this one but I feel like it would take me too much time unless I don't do the blue background. Does anyone have ideas?

Re: Peter Pan mask
thats so cool...but i can see the time issue..maybe a simple light blue back ground kinda faint no details but maybe some clouds like the daytime sky then all your attention could be on peter??? but looks awesome!

Re: Peter Pan mask
how about a silhouette instead, with sunset colours a black boat and peter and his friends flying through the sky. or perhaps a sword and a hook as a pose to people. hmmm sounds like a hard task but can't wait to see what you come up with as that 1st mask is great. i think anything you end up doing would be a little time consuming as it is not exactly an easy thing to just paint. i wish you luck.
Re: Peter Pan mask
That one looks awesome, you could just allow the birthday boy to have it as a special one for him.
I like synni's suggestions too.

Re: Peter Pan mask
Yeah I think no matter what I do for the birthday boy is going to be time consuming. Synni, I really like your idea with the ship in the sunset with them flying in the sky. I better think quick.
Re: Peter Pan mask
I like your Peter Pan a lot, but it seems very time consuming. I like the idea of Synni to do a silhouette/shadow.
Did the mother have anything in mind when she asked you to do a Peter Pan mask? Maybe she had seen anything somewhere. I wondered bc her question is so specific.

Re: Peter Pan mask
Well I ended up sticking with that mask. I figure it was only for the birthday boy anyway. Funny thing was the boy looked at my menu book afterwards and saw Mario and Luigi and was mad because he wanted Luigi. Figures!
Re: Peter Pan mask
They never want the themed designs, ahh! I avoid making special designs just for that reason. But your peter pan mask was awesome! Very cute idea.
Re: Peter Pan mask
I like your mask. But isn't that always the way they want something different.

Re: Peter Pan mask
I too have a peter pan themed bday coming up in July (he booked in Feb!) and i've been avoiding coming up with stuff...though this is cute and i might do just peter pan and not the blue sky...maybe the 2 starts to point the way....I also need to familiarize myself with tinkerbelle
Re: Peter Pan mask
Maybe green fairy eyes for the girls. There is a thread all about Tinkerbell on here. That should give you some ideas.
