Hey Helen, Aussie3070 mentioned there was another Melburnian lurking. A get-together would be awesome, hey?! But I admit I would be a bit scared too, as I am only new facepainting as a serious thing as well. S'okay...we can be scared together! (I'm in Rowville, a bit further away but still quite closer)

I'm in Craigieburn though....so not close
I have to confess I'm a jamming virgin....shh!LOL! Jammin sounds like so much fun, I'm going to have to correct this situation in the near future!

Re: Hi from Melbourne. Australia.
Hi Helen! Welcome aboard! I'm in Vermont South and have yet to JAM!! Perhaps us locals can meet in the middle for a jam??
Re: Hi from Melbourne. Australia.
Hi Rose and Kris10,
I've just found your comments here....real life has got in the way of watching and reading face paint forums :-)
Just by chance were either of you at course in Glen Waverly recently????
Beans....I have not "jammed" either - sounds a bit daunting but I'm sure it's not. Dianna at Looney Bin runs organised jams once a month on Wednesdays- she has one this coming Wenesday and I'm thinking about going. I've had good day today - 5 victims(children) who were willing to let me practice.....ha ha.....I even got to do designs that I wanted!

Helen!! I'm pretty sure we sat next to each other at Jenny's course and you painted my face with a beautiful flower design! Hello! How funny! You shouldn't feel daunted, you paint beautifully! I was half considering going on Wed to Diana's but I tend to freak out with other people there and can't paint worth a thing, so will probably chicken out! You can always come practice on my kids, there are 4 of the little tackers to attack!

Re: Hi from Melbourne. Australia.
Rose..yes it was me! How funny, small world isn't it?
I did go to the jam last wednesday and it was great...I didn't paint but I watched others, so inspired by Jenny who was there also. She painted a Minnie Mouse on my daughter and it was fantastic. You should go next time as everyone is very friendly and they are all there because they love painting. They are also so happy to help with any problems you may have.
I took my paints to a friends birthday today and because the first little girl wanted a swan and I then had to paint 6 swans.....couldn't even tempt them with anything else. I guess at least I should have perfected a swan! I had 2 boys about 8 an 10 who I had to paint as flower fairies - hilarious. They said they didn't want to be differnt as they were the only boys there! They looked very cute with pink flowers and lipstick.

Re: Hi from Melbourne. Australia.
I meant to say aswell Rose that I also have 4 children too - are yours over being painted? Mine have good days and bad days. The problem is when i want to paint they are not interested and when they want to be painted i don't have the time. Lucky they have lots of friends coming in and out and they are usually very happy to be painted.
