thanks will give that a go, hadnt thought of that Smile I was tempted to try other cleaning products but figured i would ask the people that have the same problem as me...I asked the store i bought her from and the lady was no help as they only use them for displaying hats etc on, so just dust them off or use a damp cloth. I think i freaked her out when i told her what i use Louise for (my heads name is louise Smile ) lol

You have to be careful of acetone with manicures. Learned that the hard way.

I have 99% alcohol which gets a lot of it off, but not back to "new". We also have these chemical sponges called "Magic Erasers". The super powered ones work well but again, watch the manicure.

Hello from Melbourne, I'm a newb too!

Now I'm feeling kinda ashamed that I haven't named my heads.....lol!

After some chronic staining (on my yet to be named heads....help pls!) over the weekend, I got her? clean with good ol' olive oil and elbow grease!

100% Acetone is the only thing that consistently works for me - both practice head with very different types of "skin"

Others have already mentioned it, but 100% acetone worked wonders on my practice head. It even completely erased Wolfe black - and that's really saying something.

I will look for acetone, thanks all for the suggestion. I tried 90% alcohol but that didn't take out the dark green that managed to stain right through the barrier layer of hairspray I put on AND a base coat of metallic gold. Now my poor head has a faint green spot right in the middle of her forehead.

You should see what my daughter did to her the other day affraid

The acetone is great, someone suggested goof off too, have not tried it. I don't have my nails done, so no worries here! 100% acetone is cheap at Walmart or the beauty suppliy.

I think over here, in the Netherlands, it's only available at the pharmacist?
