MommaKat wrote:That is gorgeous! and SO fitting for someone with 3 daughters...I am a huge lovers of tattoos and have been struggling with trying to find something to represent my 4 kids (2 girls 2 boys) that can go together into one design. If they were all girls it would be so much easier, flowers, butterflies ect. would all work lol

even though girls are easy it still took me a year to find the perfect tattoo. that and i am mad about mermaids. When i found this one it was like a punch in the face it was so perfect.

can you perhaps use frogs or bee's or something like that to show your boys. perhaps a couple frogs on a lotus flower with some little dragon flies 4 your girls. as you can tell i have researched a hell of alot of tattoo's lol. also i watched all the episodes of la ink and miami ink on youtube, so i knew not to just settle for some on the wall crappy art. good luck on finding your perfect tattoo.

Very cool. And I love that you put so much thought into it and made it really personal...a lot of people just seem to get tattoos because it "looks cool". scratch

I'm eager to see the final photo!

Lovely!! So great to have that personalized representation of your favorite things: mermaids and your kids and in their colour choices too! Awesome.
I also love your idea for the 2 boys/2 girls tattoo of frogs on lotus flowers and dragonflies nearby for the girls. Genius.

Congratulations on all that hard work (researching and saving up) paying off so nicely!! Thanks for sharing!

Synni, isn't that an infringement of her mermaids? I don't know. When I copied Mike Tysons design, everyone told me to change it cuz I could get sued. After awhile I thought....are they really going to sue a little face painter? so I still do it.
