Re: Does Poof Glitter Actually Poof?
There's nothing accidental about glittery boogers... glittery nose hairs, yes...but glittery boogers is just a sign of poor nasal hygiene.
I can't say that I've tried snorting glitter...though I'd be willing to try it and give a report on the effects for chocolate...

Sorry I should have said - all glitter bottles are NOT the same/ Think I have maybe 6 brands of poofers and the ones I like the best I get from bibi in the Uk or Erika. Some of the others are sealed over and you have to cut a tip (I always cut it too big) and some are too small.
The black poofer thing I don't like, I used a couple at a gig where I was given a kit to work with. It does not sit well on a table, it looks scary/ medical, and it was not as neat and directable as my normal poofers. I would think ig you really want to use them at least get the smaller size they sell for sucking snot out of babies noses. (I am serious, same thing).
I don't have a problem with glitter going everywhere - most of the time it doesn't even fall onto their shoulders.
Proper cosmetic grade fine glitter is so small in particle size it can cling to anything it touches, as we can all tell later on.
I do sometimes poof onto bases before line work - as said, glitter, especially bigger metallic flakes, disguise a lot and thats not helpful if you have done a good job:)

Those of you that add glitter and then do line work, so you just paint right over the glitter? Or are you careful not to?

I apply the base, poof while base is wet, and apply linework as usual. Nice and sparkly.
Re: Does Poof Glitter Actually Poof?
I do my linework over the glitter. If you wait till after your line work to poof, the paint is often too dry for it to stick.
