My shop order package is missing and the USPS is not helping :(

So I ordered $40 worth of stuff from the Shop, I was so excited for it to arrive, the shipping is always super quick and dependable. And so I tracked it online... then one day it says "delivered June 3rd" and I thought, okay that's weird, but maybe it'll come tomorrow. But it didn't! And now it's been a full week since it said it was delivered and still no package. So a few days ago I called the USPS and filed a claim. Today I got an incredibly unhelpful phone call from my local post office saying "I'm calling back about your missing package. Our records indicate it was delivered June 3rd. If you have any more questions, call ___." UM.... hellooooo? I know it SAYS it was delivered, that's the problem!! So I called the number and it's been busy the whole time!

I'm ready to tear my hair out here! We've had issues with our mail people before, but I really don't think I should have to, like, go around to all my neighbors and ask if they got my package. First of all because I live in a large apartment complex and that would take FOREVER. I envision that this is going to take another 3 weeks of back and forth phone calls before the post office even understands that I'm not making this up, there is NO package! Urgh!

That is SO frustrating - I hope you're able to find it soon.

I've had a problem with mail carriers attempting to deliver various items to my neighbours too, and lets just say, I don't live in the best area...

Yeah... back in Arizona they delivered a LAPTOP I ordered to a neighbor's house. They made me go around and ask and it turns out around my 15th place, a little old man answered and low and behold, yea, he had it. Signed for it thinking it was something his kid's sent him and had not even opened it yet.

*sigh*

I mean really, what are the chances it will be of any use to the people who got it. With any luck they'll be knocking on your door tonight!

It showed up on my doorstep this morning! Thank goodness. I have a feeling it might've been delivered to a neighbor who dropped it off for me.

Right so unfortunately we had that little problem with our REGULAR MAIL. As in the bills were all given to a neighbor (we still haven't figured out which neighbor in the complex got em, but whomever it is now knows just how much my student loans cost!)
Didn't realize at first but on the 5th day of no mail...yeah were we PISSED.
