This is basically what I have so far...

Hello,
I am a face painter in Herndon and would like to paint at the South Riding Farmers Market. If you have a space or information on how I could go about signing up that would be wonderful. Attached is a copy of my work and below is my website.

Thank you,

Kristin Lee

Hey Darlin'
Sorry I've been away for a bit and been swamped...totally missed your post! I just fill out a vendor form and pay my money. I put down I'm a face painter under the list your craft/product/business section. I don't do anything fancy Smile

Had my first fair yesterday! went sooooooo well! I do believe i'm in love with fairs Smile

Well...the night before the town paid my hourly rate to do free face painting at the bon fire so tons of people knew I would be there the next day and only one of them didn't grasp that it wasn't free the next day.
I didn't get to bed till about midnight that night then got up at 530 to get ready the next morning an naturally forgot my favorite brushes that I had washed the night before at 1130! But husband to the rescue! He ran home and got them along with my sponges (which wasn't really needed because I have enough sponges in my kit to open a car wash lol) he also brought more paper towel and stopped at the store and got me my fave drinks...he's so awesome. I only had a couple of 1 minute breaks in my line in the early morning. I was nonstop all day but I didn't even notice. I refused to look at my line because I didn't want to get intimidated. The couple of times I looked I almost freaked! It's a little town but I think I painted alomst every kid in it lol
People had nothing but good things to say. Prompted ocasionally by a woman I know walking by saying something about "look at how talented she is" lol I had a few parents roll their eyes at the price until they saw how excited their kids was then they were fine. And I already got one birthday party out of it.
