Fee for Glitter Tattoo service at a Community or Youth Center

Post by Popparties on Tue Jun 14, 2011 3:50 pm

Hi Everyone!

My name is Jamila and I am new to Face Paint Forum. I have been reading some of the posts for the last few weeks and I am so glad to have found people like yourselves that are willing to help others and share your knowledge.

I have started a kids party business called Parties On Purpose here in Phoenix, AZ and have done several parties. I now offer Glitter Tattoos as an add on and I have also done some family events/carnivals. I have also started Glitter Tattoo parties and charge $100 for the first hr (I can complete about 12 Tats ) and $50 for each additional hr.

My question for you is, I am now promoting my Glitter Tattoo service to community centers and youth facilities. How much should I charge for this service? I made up some marketing materials (Thank you Shannon Fennell for all of your information) and plan to go into each business and hand them out.

Thanks so much!!!!

You're quite welcome Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

I would say not to offer any kickbacks. You could offer a slight discount as an "introductory offer". My preference is for an hourly rate unless you can knock them off faster than 12 an hour ($4X12=$48.... not counting the time to get the next person into the chair etc!)

I agree with you that a per hr. Rate is much better. I will stay with $100 for the first hr. ($50 after that). I also think just giving a discount in the beginning would be better than offering a kickback. Thank you so much for your input!
