I made a butterfly brush with a cheep fan brush, it's not great, the bristles separate badly and I can't really get it to work properly. I think I need to make another one with a better quality brush...

Here's my feeble attempt anyhow...

it's all right... drag it inwards a little bit to fill in the center more and I wouldn't bother with the red dots... they are too wet and getting fuzzy.
