I pry mine out with a butter knife, then slightly warm them, some colors need no warming, some more than others, then I use the knife to put them into the next pot.

Pry them out, put them into new pot... if they crumble don't worry, just get it all in there. Smoosh down as much as possible with a knife. Wet with spray bottle and heat for a few seconds in the microwave. (Just a few! Like 5 seconds.) They should be more pliable then, and able to be packed down more.

I use an exacto knife to separate the paint from the original pot and then pry it out with a flimsy plastic knife that has some bend to it. This way I can usually get all the paint out in a single cake.... however not always Wink
If it crumbles, it is not biggie, get everything into the new pot and I use saran wrap to *SMOSH* the paint on down. I have never had to heat it up (I am in Florida, it is always hot).
Careful what pot you put it into because snaz eats plastic like it is no-ones biznus.
Took less than a month to shatter a new container that i moved it to....
