so much fun!!!*first party pics!*

So, I've had my paints now for about a month and last week I got a small little kit together to take to be friends daughter's birthday party and I'm VERY pleased to say it was a great success!! I was SO nervous to paint on kids other than my own and I was so nervous that I went a little too fast, lol
I don't plan on doing this as a business, just a hobby to keep me sane in the world of mommyhood but I can see why so many of you LOVE doing this...the look on the kids faces was priceless!!
The only mishap I had was when my water blew over from a gust of wind...and when a little boy asked for a dragon and it ended up looking like a alligator and I just couldn't figure out why (no wings!! lol)
I painted my own kids at home first (I stole some designs from here btw, I hope no one minds!!)

Wow! amazing! These are very incredible! You say they are your firsts? Your line work is great. =0) I bet the kids really loved them.

You did a fantastic job! I second Tara...well done. They do NOT look like your at all new to the business!

What she said! You're work is gorgeous and you deserve to be paid for it, even though it feels odd because you enjoy it. Just think of the paints and glitters and brushes etc. you can buy with the money you can earn! I also started painting just for fun and mama-sanity. Come to the other side, we have more split cakes!

Yep...I third that Daizy..you'll have no problem gettn paid for those..Glad your having fun and were able to share the joy!

Ahahaha...split cakes are definitely someting I need!!
A big thanks for all the positive comments, I've always been a bit of a doodler but I have learned ALOT this past month just from reading the posts here and watching a few youtube vids. I did have a couple moms I didn't know watching me (eek so nervous!) and making comments about how much they would pay for someone to paint at THEIR kids parties...sounds tempting but with 4 kids 8 and under I just don't have the time, especially on weekends. I can't wait to offer myself out for school fundraisers or something though...once I work up the nerve
