Ok I'm going to be the bad guy here.....
How does 15 work if actually painted on a person? The nose and everything would be in the crack of the eye..... hmmmm
I always get a bit confused looking at practice heads - they put up with alot more then a real person would! I would really like to see it painted on a person to see if the design actually works out.

( I don't know who's design it is - sorry if I've offended anyone!)

I was thinking about it right now... Would it look the same on a real face? Question Question

I WASN'T THINKING ABOUT that when I voted-it's a dolphin challenge-so I voted for what I thought was a better dolphin.

I went back and looked I do think it would work on a real person.just would have a void when eye was open -or could move the design up a hair.

don't get me wrong # 12 is great the waves beautiful but thr dolphin in#15 is imho a better dolphin.

I don't know who #15 is- I don't have an entry in this comp. just sharing my point.
GOOD LUCK TO BOTH- all the entry's were GREAT cheers

I think that is a valid point, but not something to judge on since it wasn't included in the rules.

How could we word this for future challenges regarding the practice heads? We can't ban them cause quite frankly it is all some have, but.....just can't think right now.

this is a challenge for face painting, therefore it has to make sense to pay attention to where you place it on the face (otherwise we'll be painting canvases), I dont think that the problem is the practice head.. just placement.. but this is just my opinion.

Even if it would not concern me, I would say the following to it:
What is that? Now here discussed because of the plastic head?
That is ha like if children argues.

Unfortunate that in such a way to end must.
In the future will not no more go through if for some a so large problem represents!
Excuses please! I was placed happy 2. Crying or Very sad

Now I'm feeling bad Crying or Very sad It was not my intention at all to offend anyone. I'm a beginner too and I just wanted to know if the design would work on a real face... Of course it's a wonderful dolphin and you deserve a good place! Very Happy

Kleophea, you shouldn't be discouraged, you are very talented! the dolphin is beautiful, and 2nd place is honorable!
I think that you can only learn from that, we all do things, therefore we all make mistakes. and its Okay, we are humans Smile
plus we are all here to learn! this forum is the best thing that happened to me after i figured out that i want to be a face painter!
so many people who are willing to give info and share. sometimes because its written it sounds awkward, but I always keep in mind that this group is very supportive, and assume that everything here is written with good intentions.

you still should be VERY proud of yourself! you are truly a very talented woman!
