I spent ALL day getting ready for this weeks fair

Post by FUNFACTORY on Wed Jul 13, 2011 8:58 pm

I was excited to add some new things like my new mat to keep the line from crowding around me, and my sand bags .
I know sand bags aren't very exciting but I will get to that part. Menard's only had 70# sand bags ,so I made smaller ones with my foodsaver lol! the great part was I covered all four for $.25( love goodwill $.25 day)and no sewing Razz I also got my other banner stands finished I love you got it all set up did a little painting and took it back down and loaded most of it in my car for tomorrow.if anyone has suggestions feel free let them roll.THANKS

the only suggestion that I have with this sort of set up, would be to get tent walls in case of high wind or rain!

Also, it's nice(but not necessary) to get a large rug for the floor of your tent. I just recently picked up one for when I'm selling outdoors(mostly for when I sell my art, but I will use it for faces as well!) and I lay that down first and BOY, it really just makes everything look that much nicer.. plus it kept my chair and table from digging into the ground.

I picked mine up as a remnant from a carpet store.. something outdoors worthy. I just swept it off at the end and stored it behind the couch at home..lol.

thanks Ashley- I do have one wall ,but seems the side I need to put it on for the sun is the same side the wind is coming from and it bows the side of the tent in Crying or Very sad ( I started shopping for a better one)
I
I have thought about a rug ,one festival I pulled the mat from the back of my suv because my chair kept sinking in the ground.

I'm sorry did you say your sandbags aren't exciting?!! They are totally ADORABLE!! I use 5 gallon buckets filled with cement! TOTALLY ugly compared to these! LOVE IT!
