Hello from BC

Hello,

Im a face painter from BC Canada. I have been painting for 3 going on 4 years now. I kinda stumbled upon this part time job 4 years ago when looking for a painter for my kids birthday party and finding everyone seemed to be booked up solid. So I bought some paints (mehron pallet) and gave it a go. Boy did I suck! But I found the snazaroo site checked out the step by step faces learning a tiger, spiderman princess and butterfly. I thought I did a great job and then I practiced and practiced daily and got better. It didnt take long to be requested by friends and their friends and their friends and now here I am. Booking events locally and promoting my own small business adventure. I would love to meet other local artists swap stories, get advice, learn a few more tricks, design ideas and more! This place is great! I didn't even know about it until another Cdn face painter mentioned it on facebook one day chatting about insurance etc. I already shopped at the local link here, read some posts, looked through some peoples art and now on to introductions. Thanks for letting me be apart of such a great group. I look forward to hearing and seeing more from all the great talent on here!

Im on the border of Surrey/ Langley an area called (cloverdale) about a 45 minute drive from Vancouver.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I have spoken with other artists before and I gotta say they are not all so warm and friendly all the time so this is just fantastic!!

I used to go to Cloverdale all the time :p Dog shows are held there alot, back in my other incarnation as breeder/groomer/handler LOL. It's nice there, you forget that your half an hour to the big city Kinda like Maple Ridge

I lived in White Rock, Surrey, Newton, Delta, Burnaby, Port Coquitlam, Vancouver (not necessarily in that order) and once was in the Cloverdale Rodeo Parade! We moved up here in 2000.

If you haven't already chatted with them there are several Lower Mainland artists on here!

Welcome fellow BC'er!!!

I haven't been painting long, but I have learned SO much from this group it is amazing! I got into facepainting after getting tired of hearing my kids whine because want to wait in LONG lineups for face paint at the local fun fairs ect. out here in Abbotsford...I'm sure they will be sick of face painting LONG before I am now, I'm addicted, lol
