My fav chunky glitter(in a pot) got knocked over last night at a gig! I did have it on top of a paper towel, but it was close to the edge. I lost half of the glitter Sad

I like the pots for small children. Some kids just don't understand to close your eyes when you tell them! LOL

I put my hands over their eyes and they close them and I proceed to poof away Smile
It takes a second a poof and 2 poofs later I am pushin the kid outta my chair Wink
Since I PPF a lot I feel as though I don't have the time to do precise glitterfication

I off-loaded glitters and shimmer powders into sets of containers, so only a third is at risk at any one time. I mostly get irritated when glitter gets in my paints. When it's hot out, you can forget about getting it out of Snaz. I'm so uptight I'll do anything to reduce my anxiety...

I have poofer bottles. They each fit into their own slot in foam-cut-out in a little metal suitcase. Those are for glitter tattoos.

I'm in the predominantly PPF group as well so I have a single pearly white that I use on face paints. That's it. A poof or two and I'm done. I've never had a problem with kids closing their eyes. I just tell them to tip their heads all the way back and pretend like they are going to sleep. It's silly and they laugh while they do it.

My mica and my flocking are in pots. We uncap and recap every time. I had a pot of red glitter that I spilled once at a windy outdoor festival. It was like a whirlwind of red glitter and I vowed never again.

This is not about organizing, but I just had to randomly squee about it to someone and I didn't think I should add a whole new thread.

I just got sparkly mail! Had ordered silver rainbow holographic glitter, which somebody on here was raving about but I had never seen.

And OMG SILVER RAINBOW HOLOGRAPHIC GLITTER. I WANT TO ROLL IN IT AND HAVE GLITTERY BABIES. lol!

That is all. Excuse me, I need to go be alone with my glitter. Razz

If you like the silver, you should try the gold Wink

I use the regular, small puffer bottles for glitter tats, but I use hair dye bottles to hold glitter for painting. The hair dye bottle are brand new and never been used, purchased at the beauty supply store, cost just over $2.00, are the exact same texture as the little bottles, so good for puffing Smile As an added bonus, they hold a lot more glitter. I keep a gold, silver and iridescent white in my kit.

Okay, glitter tart, cough up the source of holographic rainbow silver glitter, LoL. I just spent a fortune but didn't see any that made me want to want to have glitter babies, and I sure could use a 'trip' like that right now! ;-) Laughing

I've been eyeing that silver rainbow for sometime now! I know how much I love my thick cut Fairy Dust and couldn't possible fall in love with any other color! Laughing I knew if I got the rainbow silver, I would have to get the gold, too! geek

I've seen it at Silly Farm Very Happy

I got mine from evilfirelizard.com. And it was only $2.25! Wolfe brand, small pot, but you know, they last forever, so I thought it was awesome.

*sigh* Where have you been all my life, rainbow glitter? I love you

I wonder if it's the same as the Mama Clown glitter? It's cheaper if you went with SillyFarm 3 1oz for $13. Smile

I don't like buying stuff in that kind of quantity before seeing it. Now that I know how awesome it is, that is a better deal for next time.
