Re: inserting pictures
Go to the little box that is above the writing box, the one that looks like a computer with a little diskette, when you point to it, it should say "hosting Image" Click on it.
Another box opens and click on "choose file" after you choose your image click on the resize option, if you want the picture really huge pick 800 px, if you want it tiny then the smaller number. after that click on "host it" then click and paste the link that says image.

This picture of my daughter is 640 px
You can always click on the preview button before you hit send to see if your picture was correctly attached.

Re: inserting pictures
I've not tried to post a pic on the forum yet, but have recently had the same problem uploading pics to my gallery - it says the pic is 'corrupted' or 'too big' but can't find a way of rectifying it for the gallery.
Re: inserting pictures
I was having a horrible time uploading pics to a thread today. It just wouldn't work for some reason. I finally decided to just use Photobucket and resize there. Then you copy and paste the forum url

Re: inserting pictures
I chose a pix, then did the 800 cuz it suggested
for forums, then it lists 3 thumbnail choices, I have
clicked on all three....and hit upload....it just goes right
back to the beginning.

Re: inserting pictures
See, I wasn't getting the urls to come up.
You just hit copy and then paste it in your comment
You might have to re-hit the little button to get it to go away before you paste.

Re: inserting pictures
Did you manage to insert a picture yet? If not, try this...when your three choices come up with the copy button next to them, right click on the center one and select copy (not the copy button). Then click the monitor with the disc. Go into your dialog box and right click again and select paste. That is how it worked for me after trying more times than I can count. Hope this helps.

Re: inserting pictures
am trying ...keeps going to ???...are we to click on the host an image? it goes to servimg.com????
Re: inserting pictures
I clicked on your avatar picture, then right clicked, selected "Properties", highlighed and copied the complete "address/URL", then in the reply box, I clicked on the photo icon which is the 18th one from the left - looks like a polaroid photo (between the photo and disk, and the link icons), pasted the URL into the field, then hit "OK"... it inserts the photos address and the photo shows up in the post.
This is for photos that are ON the net and have an actual URL... so if you have posted to a website, a blog, facebook, etc. you can just link the photo into your message.
