CrazyPainter wrote:I just tell them "anywhere from 75 to 175, depending on what you'd like. We can work within most budgets." then hand them a card. "Check out the website, give us a call, and well make sure we take good care of you."
This is great advice. Thank-you for sharing it.
Re: Being asked for prices while face painting
I give them my card & let them know my prices are on my website. I'll sometimes tell them my prices quickly. let them know if they want to book me I can pencil them in after the party. I get their name & phone number before I leave & call them once I'm home. I just got a face painting/balloon twisting, henna tattoo party today doing that
.
Re: Being asked for prices while face painting
I don't discuss prices on the fly because I need every detail of the event before I quote anything.
Same goes for websites, literature etc.
I say "I'd love to come to your event! It (the price) really depends on all the details and it's best if you give me a quick phone call to talk about everything. Here's my card!" *smile* *attention back to the kid in the chair*
