Bling Haul!!!

Post by CABBYJ on Sat Jul 23, 2011 5:34 pm

I had to share Very Happy I decided to jump on the bling mask band wagon. I'd actually went to Michael's to grab some brushes and noticed bling stickies were on clearance! For my WI painters, Michaels in Germantown!

I've never done them on an actual paint job. I'm going to throw a few on when I go out and paint today and see how they hold up. I'm going to stick 1 on with glue and 1 on in just sticker form.

those are the bling i bought and posted up to! lol yes, great deal. I just stick them on. no one has fussed at me over it, if they fall off I tell them to come back and ILL paint the gemstones on. I didn't buy any over a buck- the 50c ones I use for birthday person. my pics were on the other thread.
-used mostly for princess crowns. they are terrific! I see some you got that I couldst find at my store.

Naw, I had one on my foot for 2 days now. I allpied glitter tattoo glue over the sticky part, let it get tacky and then applied the gens. They are still going strong after 2 nights of swimming and 2 showers.
I just bought a bazillion of them to share with anyone that wants some. Mine were .99 plus 13% tax. So, a bit more then in the US. But, still cheap. I can jsut pop em in an envelope and mail them to you.
Let me know.

Just trying to be helpful, thinking of all the liabilities of using things non-cosmetically and in an off-label manner--
I bet it's best to use glitter glue instead of buying the self-adhesive ones if you are concerned about skin safety.
The self-sticks are made for scrap booking and decorating and are surely imported from places that might be lax on safety laws.

They might contain lead and probably shouldn't be applied to little children.

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade. Better safe than sorry. Thanks for testing on yourself first, glitterfly!

Lol, I'm testing a few different glitter tats on myself right now. By the way I hold a corporate day job. I've gotten various responses today about my "art". I thought it was normal to have a ninja turtle glitter tattoo on your forearm!
