SteamPunk My SteamPunk costume

This is me in my costume with no makeup on at all so please don't look at me to close...took quick pics of the costume to show a friend, good thing too since not one came out from the actual SteamPunk ball I attended.


Close up of my gun and my goggles. I made the gun from a water pistol and used a special spray paint made for plastic to prime it in a flat black and then used acrylic paint and powdered pigments to achive the brassy copper look, All the doodadds where from my vast trunk of misc. junk jewlery and other such items.
The goggles where swim goggles I got for a 1.00 the plastic outer shell snapped off and it got the same treatment as the gun. The ribbon matched my skirt and blouse. Any "Repo the Gentic Opera" fans out there? notice the blue vial?
I also made a feathered head clip I used gears and a clock hand and a but of lace to glue the feathers and gears to, I'll see if I can get a picture of it.
