Fabatv....just subscribed,

Post by glitterfly on Wed Jul 27, 2011 8:09 pm

I just subscribed to Fabatv tonight and I have to say.....I love it!
I am watching the Lynne Jamieson video and have learned so much in 25 minutes. I am so excited to keep watching. I just signed up for the month. just incase the videos were too hard to learn from.

So, was it a good investment? Absolutly.
No negatives at this point.

I may add some more to this review as I get to watch other artists.

It was only $29.99 for one month. Not bad considering I have learned so much in the first half of Lynne Jamieson's video.
I was even inspired to make 4 new split cakes with her colour combos used.

I'll be doing this next big gig pay out - both the free vids were awesome.

yep, a login and password. I can watch whatever videos I choose and as many times as I want.
So far, the 1st video is awesome.
I love Lynne Jamieson's style.
That alone was worth the $29.99

I want to subscribe, but I think my internet might be too slow. Is there anyone who has had problems with viewing? How does it compare to a short youtube video in terms of buffering? I sometimes find when watching a 4 or 5 minute youtube video it pauses 2 or 3 times to catch up. (That's what happens when you live in a regional area in Australia, the internet speed varies enormously regardless of the plan you are on).

I may just have to subscribe for a month to see what the viewing quality is like.

Cdennis, I have the same issue with YouTube videos (I have 7 Meg DL Speed DSL), but I watched the free "sample" classes from FABATV and they played fine, I even watched a live one and didn't have a problem. I'd suggest watching one of the free ones to see if you have any problems before you subscribe. There was a link to them somewhere here on the forum....

I subscribed, too, and I love it! Had some issues with the videos loading at first, but that was due to my browser. They advised that it doesn't work well with Internet Explorer, but Firefox and Google Chrome work very well for me. I have watched almost every one, and especially liked Mark Reid's "Mastering Your Lines", oh, and Marcela's "Bling Masks", oh, and Nick Wolfe's (or was it Brian) Superheroes...and... look, if you haven't subscribed yet....do it! It's beyawesome (that's my made up word for beyond awesome!)!
