Post by Jantien's Art on Fri Jul 29, 2011 11:51 am

I posted this in another tread, but wanted to share with more people...

Love to have the fatmax...

I was checking it out in the Netherlands, going to be € 119,- to € 165,- so that's about.... $169.- to $235... isn't that rediculous!!!!
YOu guys pay like $ 60,- for one... that € 42,- i think I have to visit the USA soon!!!!! hahahaha
That would be a great trip and save money...

Take care, love jantien!

PS.. I WANT A FATMAXXXXX!!!!.

I'll confess i paid about that if you include the fact that I had to drive to my closest city to pick it up which is a 4hour round trip. I got it from ebay because there weren't any in any shops and they wouldn't special order them. Its worth every penny!!!!

I just found out that my local beauty school sets each of its students up with a fatmax to work out of. Most of them get rid of them after they graduate because they get set up in a salon somewhere and don't have to do all that transporting. So... I've put the word out that I'm buying-- fingers crossed!

you should ask the school if you could post a flyer on the board there. You know you see it enough times it finally sinks in.

I've seen one for € 93,71 at http://www.klusgroothandel.nl/product_info.php?cPath=11636_11643&products_id=277846

cheapest one I could find...

Maybe we Duchies can buy it all together so that a discount is possible :-)

I think that price it is no bad, I just bought mine at Amazon.com, and they shipped to me in Germany for $120.oo dollars, it was the cheaper price I could get.
If you buy at the store they would be $70 dollars but the shipping would be$100 dollars.

Hassle your local hardware store....I went into Bunnings and Mitre 10 and asked if they had a FatMax for about 6 months before 1 day I saw it in a Bunnings catalogue and off I went as fast as I could (and still had to try 3 stores....)

Hubby thinks I'm nuts!!

I bought my fat max at Home Depot. I can't remember the price...will check when I get home. I'm thinking around $89. They had a small one and a large one.
