Denise, I did see it! And as diligently as I tried, they all look like they are deformed when I do them!

Anniel, we should start a club, lol, me you and Justine, she hates them also!

Psalmbook, I love that piece you posted! I like the whole ocean floor look to it.

like Tash said a big tear drop for the body then a flick, flick for the tail, top fin & bottom fin then I use my brush to just 'lay down' a nose. I use a chisel brush & use my TAG ocean split cake & load up the dark blue & teal, light blue.

I haven't done the small silohette(sp?) dolphins but they look like tiny tear drops.

I don't really like dolphins either. I do a one stoke one with a split cake. At a recent festival, I had a guy that was like 45 want one on his arm! I hated it, and couldn't cover anything up with glitter! Mine have gotten better, but I'm not super comfortable with them for some reason. I watched the Lisa Joy Young video - the one with the tropical flowers too... I don't know the link to it, but that made mine a lot easier.

So much helpful info! Thank you all so much, I will practice with these methods (maybe a combination of a few) and see what kind of mess I can come up with. Dolphins and I are not friends LOL. Wish me luck!

I have no problem with dolphins...let's talk about HORSES and UNICORNS!
When they are requested, I do the heads only...if I can get away with it.
those legs make me crazy every time.

Another item that I suck at - CARS. I need to spend some good practice time
on those to. Nothing better than getting some good picture references first.

Good luck with your dolphins! Watching the videos should help quite a bit.

I'm feeling you there!! Damn stupid cars make me have a Mutley moment or two.
Yeah and my fast horse/unicorn is just plain sad.
