Feather necklace

Hi everyone,
I am finally posting a pic, so please be kind (but truthful too!) And it's not even a face painting pic, its a pic of a leg painting (large canvas, my leg!) that I did the other night, playing around and copied a design on my daughter's t-shirt!
Any suggestions for improvement are gratefully accepted!

hey Rose it looks great, perhaps some white highlights.

That dose look awesome! Im echoing the white comment though, it needs to pop.

I love them! Oh and another vote for a tiny bit of white to pop. It's amazing what a little bit of white will do.

Cool, white it is! Makes sense now you've all said it! And I might need to hold my daughter down to paint her neck, but I might try and convince a friend just so I can see what it looks like. Thanks xo

Oh, and the green is Diamond FX metallic green

I really like the look of the green one... and agree with white highlights.

For the others, I see what you were going for. Maybe try using a flat brush, start at the stem of the feather and pull out, pulling up from the skin in a wispy fashion. Does that make sense? Then you can go back with shadows and highlights with a small round brush.

When all else fails... really study a real feather.
