Tag Daubers

Post by Lady Jayde on Thu Aug 04, 2011 10:18 am

Hey Metina,
Do you have any plans to bring the washable paint daubers to the shop in works? I saw these on the TAG site, but thought I'd ask first.

Those look so neat! Very Happy I just need big daubers of any sort, Sillyfarm is always out of stock and I use them for round puppy eyes, rainbow peace signs, etc.

Sparkly,

I get the wooden handled ones from Walmart, but the machine washable TAG daubers are intriguing. I get annoyed that I can't really wash my Walmart daubers the same way that I wash my regular sponges. Oh and that inevitably, after a certain number of uses, the wooden handles start splitting from the spongey part...

You can use cylindrical shaped sponges...I've got some that were packing material... one inch across cylinders, I cut them down to 2".

If you have access to an industrial hole punch you could punch out smaller diameter cylinders... maybe a shoe maker or some sort of metal industrial press... or if you are really strong a sharp cookie cutter!

Michael's carries a Martha Stewart assortment for $5 of various sized cylindrical sponges in a plastic holder...you can use both ends like on the TAGs...

I have never seen these before and even missed this thread. I think someone said on another thread these were discontinued.

That's too bad. I would have bought a set from you. Merry Christmas, BTW
