HappyVickery, those are the ones I finally found, yay! At Walmart no doubt (after I looked there 100 times).
I glued in velcro strips in the case and on the bottom of the paint pots, but the velcro seems to peel off the paint pots and I have to keep re-gluing them. I used hot glue. Might be time to hit up the trusty E-6000 glue.

StorNCarry Slim Scrapbook Cases for TAG paints
I wanted to put this in an existing thread so that it made sense. I got the StorNCarry super slim scrapbook case (on sale for $5.99) in Joann's and it is fitting my TAG containers perfectly. I can only fit one layer in, but that is exactly what I wanted. I cut up a towel to cushion the little bit of space left over and it worked so I will make a permanent square of toweling or fleece to hold them in that I will just wash with my other towels after a gig.
So my plan is to use only this pallet at gigs and open it and put the toweling in the opposite side and put my brushes, water bath, Liquid Bling in the 12x12 space of the lid. It's got some molded channels in it so I'm not thrilled but I don't think it will interfer too much.
Here's some I like even better but I'm not willing to spend that much. They are a little smaller profile because they don't have the molded handle. I wrote about wholesale pricing but haven't received a response yet:

I can fit 20 full sized 52gm cakes in there with 15 30gm one-stroke containers. You can fit more one-strokes in the configuration by removing a 52gm.
It fits sideways in the FatMax but I'm mad at Max right now for falling apart, so I might see if it will fit in an extra large scrapbook case (waiting for a good coupon) and start using that. (Bad Max!)
Now I just have to figure out if I can survive with only 20 cakes and 15 one-strokes.
If not I'll have to have two but they're only 1.2" high so together they are only 3 inches together.

Oh and hey, maybe place that nice piece of towel under the cakes to cushion those channels? Thanks for sharing these. I am using plastic notebook cases from wallyworld, but they dont fit my TAG cakes perfectly like these do. I might have to go to Joanns.

The little spring between the yellow thumb grips that hold the handle sprung on me and they fell down limp. I rigged it and got out the door but I haven't even dared take a close look at it.

Oh noooo. The handle is essential!!
Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
Thanks, Denise! This will be perfect for my rainbow cakes. I have all my regular colors in a craft box so that all I have to do is take off one lid, but all my rainbows and mini-rainbows, I still have to take off all the little lids. Now I know I can put them all in one container and take off ONE lid. This will take about 5 minutes off my set-up (and every minute counts
Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
That's why I had to stop using my wonderful aluminum case...those dang lids! I've been stacking my bigger cakes in my FatMax (I put the one strokes in the caddy) so I didn't have to do lids but I'm getting transfer paints on the bottoms and little dents in the cakes.
I want to do what Linda does and have the two cases side by side and that will be my table top (if my Fat Max is repairable...grrrr.)
I was curious about the rounds and it fit quite a bit because it's designed for 12x12 paper so 18 32gms fit in with a little room for 4 split cakes on the sides. So I will be able to fit all my paints in. I'll just transfer my 90gm white into a 32 gm. I still want to move toward squares but this is a good start.
I think Melody is right...a little black fleece in the bottom would look great and catch drips.

Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
I use foam board for my tabletop on top of the fatmax, so I don't have to worry about that part, but taking out each little rainbow cake and taking the lid off was driving me crazy! LOL
And I do agree with the black felt... that will look great! I think I might put velcro down to hold the cakes down, though. I can get a sheet of it to put down in the bottom, then put a dot on the bottom of each cake. I don't like the cakes moving around much

Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
They don't move if you put a piece of towel in. That was a biggie for me because I'm a "holder"....I love to hold my cakes when I load. I was thinking of doing a Fat Max Youtube video but I'm mad at him right now, so if we make up I'll show the way they fit in the bottom and that the paints stay in place.
I also need to figure out what to do with the extra slots I was using for paints!
Maybe I can put my glitter tattoo stuff there. Wow! that would be nice.

Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
Oh, okay! That's good, because I, too, like to hold mine while I load and I wasn't sure how I was going to like not doing that
Does the case fit lying flat in the top of the fatmax, or do you have to store it sideways in the bottom of the fatmax?

Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
Yes, I had to lay it sideways. Not sure about laying them on top. I"ve been using my deep top layer for my brush bath and brushes so I'm going to have to think about this configuration. Linda posted a picture (I think on the Face and Body Painters Facebook group?) and she had two cases up there. I've got to study some more.
I think I'm cutting my brushes way down now that I've got the scrubby thing in the bottom of my bath so I only need about 10 brushes.

Re: Those wonderful scrapbook paper cases that ya'll keep your paint in
Last week my Max handle pulled all the way out and I'm sure it was part of some comedy act as I stood there in the parking lot and just sort of blankly stared at the handle in my hands for about 30 long seconds... But it did go back in and it still "catches"....
