You need something like this! I had real dreads for the past two years but due to excessive heat in AZ and the fact that they were really thick and took 2 days to fully dry I cut them off. This is what I have until my hair grows out again Smile Fun and looks cute up and down Smile

I would love to see a pick with the dreads! Do they get smelly?

I will see what I have when I get home.. I dont know if I have any good ones but no Never smelly they were washed every 2-4 days depending using baking soda and apple cider vinegar so very clean ( probably cleaner than anyone who uses shampoo and conditioner cuz of the residue it leaves.

I miss them but they were really thick so I am going to start them over thinner when my hair grows out.

Yep, I'd go have it redone, something short and funky, and try a lil bit of eye makeup (mascara and liner). You'll be so happy and a fun look is important for a face painter! Be bold!

It was mentioned above, but I also pay a lot($60) for haircuts, and go seasonally or less. That way I have been able to let it get long. I do my own color, it's not too hard to be this blonde;)

J has vetoed the color options. I dont own a hair dryer, or makeup! Dont really want to start now to tell you the truth. Ill just 'glue' it up and crunchy it when I need to look decent. Thanks for all the options though!! I like the pink.

Glue it up!!! Love that phrase... I have super-short hair and can't look like a civil human without the pomade! And I vote purple... I loved it when I had purple highlights.

Here's just a thought for you.... did you realize that you can use the face paint to color your hair, and its not permanent.

I don't get my hair cut anymore, and this is exactly why! I have NEVER had a good haircut from a so called professional. And quite frankly I don't have the money or budget for it! My mother will trim up my ends on occasion. I had to cut my hair earlier this year due to a rotator cuff injury. I couldn't lift my arm up to brush it out, D: talk about upset!!!! It was the longest my hair had ever been. Oh well it grows pretty fast. Locks of Love got it. <3

I too am a tomboy and ponytails are my style of choice usually... easy and fast!! I will fix it up for a gig, (haven't had to many this summer so no prob there)...

I vote for the goop, have fun with it. Who knows you may find a style that you will end up loving just by this "accident"... Smile
