Awwww, how cute!! :)

Being from Michigan, I missed the chipmunks when I lived in Florida and Georgia. They are really cute and I have never really heard of them carrying any kind of diseases, although I'm sure as with any wild animal they can. Lots of people around here hand feed them and like to have them in their yards. They don't seem to be as big of a pest as squirrels. CUTE!!!!

@Shannon - I love moose....at a FAR DISTANCE! Always have to watch for them and deer this time of year. Have not seen any bears...no camping for me this year. This year for some reason I'm seeing alot of rabbits and squirrls. Are you finding a squirel population explosion too???

Haven't seen a single squirrel this year... the mule deer however... herds of them on our road... middle of the city, residential.. about 6 a.m. they are all over the place.

I don't live in a zoo... although at times

The entire city is overrun with ants... there are maybe 30 anthill on our lot alone... tried everything, they just shift their nest over a foot...

And a week ago the grasshoppers hatched... I HATE GRASSHOPPERS. They are dying off now ... driveway is littered with them.

Huh! No grasshoppers, but we have an ant issue and they are driving me crazy!!

Ants and grasshoppers? I take that back: I'm not jealous of your life close to nature. LOL

Haha, my husband has been secretly feeding the squirrels peanuts, "even though I told him not to" it all started with my daughter, she was seating on the deck eating a bowl of peanuts and all the sudden I go outside and there were about 30 squirrels in our back yard

Now every time we go outside there are 2 little squirrels that come up and look for peanuts, they are very fun to look at though.

Now chipmunks are a different story, when we moved to our house there was a little family of them, sooooo cute, until......they destroyed my yard, they dug out my plants and they opened huge holes all over the yard.
We still see some but not as many as before and I am so glad
