My Crazy Summer Ends with...

MY HUBBY GETTING A TEACHING JOB!!!

God is bigger than a hiring freeze! Even though the school system is on a hiring freeze, my hubby got 2 interviews & was hired as a 5th grade teacher! I've been helping him all week get his classroom ready. It was a storage room, so it's been a plus & a pain. The plus is it's full of discarded items that he doesn't have to buy for his classroom. The pain is it's a ton of work to get it ready.

I'm so proud of him!

I am so happy for your family.
You are my hero. Your facepaint is inspirational. I have been lurking a while on this website, admiring your facepaint, and rooting for you and your family. Teachers are also heroes. Your husband will be making memories for children for the rest of their live, simply by being a grade 5 teacher.

HaHa! Thanks all(Yes splitcakes are a most now) Very Happy
As the bureaucracy flies... all has changed & now he's in a special 3rd grade class for kids who have been held back 1 time or more & has been switched to a temporary subbing position(less pay...) till he can officially be hired full time. Starting the school year always means shifts & changes(so now we take down all the 5th grade stuff & put up the 3rd grade stuff). We are riding the wave & waiting to see where it takes us Razz
