Hello folks, my name is James and I am a fairly new face and body painter from Louisville, Kentucky. I have always been artistically inclined, but until this year I had not really done anything body and face painting related other than drawing a mustache on my kiddo for halloween or doodling on someone's leg with an eyebrow pencil. After reconnecting with an old high school friend who does body painting I decided to give it a whirl.
Since I started painting, I have helped out with a few children's birthday parties and a Leukemia benefit for a sick little girl in LaGrange KY. I traveled to Nashville with my friend and guide into the world of body art in order to take a class with Pashur on face painting and found it to be extremely helpful. Since that class, I have painted kids and adults at a Tattoo convention and painted numerous adults at home.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's work, learning what I can, and possibly sharing bits and pieces of what I have learned with anyone who wants to ask. Thanks to the moderators and board owner for the chance to join up with a legion of face painters from all over the world!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I really like the way the skull painting turned out, too. I was at a tattoo convention in Louisville and I wanted to try something reminiscent of an old-school tattoo. I'd really like to see something I designed end up as an actual permanent tattoo on someone eventually.
