Hey guys!

If you are going to be in the area (Maryland, US) and you have a free weekend you should come on up and see me at the Maryland Renaissance Festival It starts this weekend and goes until the 3rd weekend of October.

I'll be at the Body Parts Face Painting booth (there are FOUR! other FP booths this year). When you come in through the entrance you go to your right and head past the Henna Booth and toward the Joust Field. We are near the Boar's Head Tavern.

Come on over and say Hi! Don't worry if we look busy, it's just nice to see a friendly face in the crowd

Wish I could, but we can't even get to the Ohio Ren fest this year, which I'm bummed about. Have a great time!

Oh I LOVED going to renn fest!! Youll get to hear the O'Danny Girls!! LOL They are one of my favorite fest shows to catch.
Wish I could drive in to see it, but I cant manage it with everything going on. have a super blast for me!! good weather vibes!

Day 1:

Holy Moley! Hurricane Irene made opening day crazy for us. No rain until 11 AM ish but no customers either. The fair hasn't been closed due to weather since 1989 but they shut down at 3 yesterday and are opening 2 hours late this morning.

I can honestly say I have never seen my kit react badly to heat/humidity but in a hurricane *every* *single* *brand* turned to mush. Luckily they dried out over night but it was still nutzzz.

Also, freehand glitter tattoos on wet skin are a no no. Could't even get duct tape to pick up the fall out. Yuck.

Fingers crossed for sunny weather this afternoon <3
