I had noticed your empty space Riana.
Your post is very concerning.....
I know what you mean about not wanting to come here or pick up your paints when your whole world has been turned upside down. I tend to hide from the world when bad things happen.
My mum knows if she doesn't hear form me for over a week it's because I"m not handeling well. I don't call people when I can't say everything is fine.

If there is anything i can do for you - even just to be a shoulder to lean on or an ear to talk to - I would love to offer you my support. Please feel free to contact me and I'll give you my number if you would like to have a chat.
There are days when I fell the fabric that holds my life together ripping and tearing and I don't think it will hold together.
As of yet it has held...... but something tells me yours hasn't held.
Please give your little man a huge cuddle.... sometimes when we hold what matters most close to us we get perspective of all that matters.
xxxxxxoooooooxxxxxxx
Please also come back and check in with us when you can - we all need to know you are ok.
xxx

What everyone else has said so eloquently.
(caring hug)

I'm so sorry that you're having difficulty just now... we'll all be here when you feel like coming back.

I tend to shut down myself.... I find that the first place that I open up after a difficult period in my life is to my favorite online places.... there's warmth and comfort in the words of online friends... without having to be face to face to speak.

Blessings to you... for whatever reason that you're here, it's wonderful to see you. (caring hug)

Oh man. Thank you all so much. I sat here bawling as I read your responses but at least I felt alive hey? And I kind of felt like you get it, how I feel even though I can't imagine sharing about life right now. It feels nice to know I'm not alone in feeling like I do right now. I've got a long road ahead but your words give me strength.
I got a call tonight to to a last minute body paint - a guy wanted to be the incredible hulk. I accepted just to be moving. Doing. I wasn't happy with it at all, my hands felt like they belonged to someone else but he was stoked. he is a booking agent for a local club and he'll be MC'ing the party all painted up so even though I just want to hide away I can't give up all the hard work I've put into this. And I have bookings for the next four days so hopefully I can hide away in a painting world for a few days. Its funny. I keep wanting to switch my phone off but the bookings keep coming. Like a lifeline.
I just really wanted to thank you all. This is a beautiful place.
xx

HUGS to you Riana and your son!!!! And Kudos for not giving in to the depression monster!!!!

As I just posted to Melody,

I am sending thoughts of healing, speedy recovery, patience and love to you and your son! May the right people have the exact answers for speedy and total healing, may they know how to rectify your crisis, and keep your heart going in the rough times ahead! May anyone who comes into contact with him, you and your family know the exact words, or actions needed to keep everyone in a positive light, loving attitude, hopeful, and ready for that miracle to happen when it does, and I know it will!!!!!!!!

I will keep you in my thoughts, and have sent out the prayer request to all that I know that believes. Now all you have to do is know, have faith and accept what is rightfully yours, a miracle!!!!!

And you know that we are here for you and know that this too shall pass!!! There are things that happen, and if we sit and label it bad, then it will continue to add more bad or negative to our lives, so its up to us to find the good in what happened, and affirm that it was a blessing in disquise, and continue to affirm that blessings will happen as a result!

Now give yourself and your son a HUG from us and say "I KNOW for a fact that things are going to work out wonderfully, and I KNOW that We will be better for it!!!" And it will happen!!!

I wouldnīt have told it better ( may be in Spanish... Wink ) So, thanks Skidzz for being my voice. I agree with each of your words.

Riana, you'll get over it and you'll be stronger for it Smile
Again, warm hugs and good vibes for you and your son.

So the rollercoaster just keeps running and apparently I don't get to hop off just yet. I ended up taking time out from my business for a few weeks, and still am on time out - I am slowly picking up the pieces of my life. I had the guts to come on FPF again tonight and try to remember the things I love, like painting, but thought I want to say that if you love someone dearly turn away from your computer right now and tell them, tell them they are important and that they rock your world just by being there and supporting your art because one night you may just be looking over at an empty space and wondering if you could have shown them more love somehow.. if maybe one word or one look could have made the difference between a beautiful reality or a hellish nightmare... now that said I'm going to go lurking round the forum and find some pretty pictures to whisk me away to a land of flowers, fairies and sugar skulls..

Riana sometimes people are only in our lives for a short time others for longer. We learn our lessons in life and from them and become better for having known them as we progress though our life. Healing and understanding comes as a part of this .Life has many experiences for us, some good some not so good.
Take good care of yourself and your son. Life will be good again one day.

Sad Riana the tears are welling up in my eyes reading your last post. Instead of sitting here reading through all my loved posts of forum family members I'm going to grab my boys & head outside in the sunshine & play some ball & tennis.

((warm hugs)) to you. Hope you find your way soon, and have lots of support around you. After my dad died I didn't feel like painting, but once I slowly got back into it I found it to be a very calming distraction. We are always here inspiring and supporting. This is a safe place to hang out. Looking forward to your return.

When our world is upside down is good to know that there are places and people which are in the same place. I wish you find your way again and I hope this forum help you. Warm hugs .
