Postage issues
I've recently discovered something interesting and a bit annoying. There are massive postage delays from USPS and Australia Post currently. I just thought I should tell people, especially Australians that they could be really long postal delays. Apparently some people have waited almost 6 months for their packages to arrive.
.
Its really annoying because its really hard to get decent face paints here and i need to replace supplies and its not getting here in a timely fashion. Sigh and because AusPost is keeping mum about this I have no one to blame.
So maybe if you are in Aust it might be worth arranging alternate postage with Metina, if possible, if you need your paints quickl.

Re: Postage issues
From Canada to Oz too.... Canada to UK.... Canada to US...
I sent a Christmas Gift Exchange package to Oz this past year - sent Nov 24, I think it arrived in February. Another time I sent a package to the UK - sent Nov 24 (that's the deadline for overseas for Christmas) arrived March 16.
It's the same all over... and it isn't NECESSARILY the postal service, it can be Customs holding the packages. I've had it happen where Customs sits on a package for over a month, just because...
Once I had an order shipped in two separate packages... one arrived in 8 days... the other... didn't. The vendor shipped ANOTHER package as I needed it ASAP for a competition I was leaving for... it took 11 days. The missing package showed up about 36 days after it was shipped - it had been in Customs the whole time.
I was tracking the package and talking to Canada Post about it - they did not have possession of it so it was in Customs.

Re: Postage issues
Thats true, but there is meant to be tonnes of postage in backlog. Annoyingly today I got one of my packages from Metina, but its arrived before something else Ive ordered from her. I just hope that the package hasnt been lost.

Re: Postage issues
Well if so, it is insured. Keep tracking it and let me know if it doesn't show up.
