This summer has been one craptacular day after another

So I got the flu and thought I was gonna die for about 3 days, I went to the movies with hubby and friends slipped and fell and tore something in my knee and pinched a nerve, and now I have a head cold from hell including the worse headache ever!
So today I flipped the calender and realized I forgot to send in my app and fees for a event on the 9th 10th and 11th.... and now have no idea if they will let me FacePaint or not, here is hoping they will as I have plans that are going to require money to attend in Nov. Going to get to hang out with Peter S Beagle the author of "The Last Unicorn" Not to mention we are in a major drought and hay has gone up to 10.00 a bale and looks like there is no end in sight.
Just need a prayer or two, help get me over this injury and this cold.
Oh yea and did I mention the movie theater said it's not their fault I fell, however another lady fell before I did and multiple people skied across the area so when I was heading for the theater our movie was in I went way around the area where people where slipping and falling and damned if I didn't fall! Had to go to the Emergency Room as I couldn't put any weight on my left leg with out it buckling....
now the hospital gave me a lawyer and they will pursue the charges for my EC and the specialist I had to see, Good news is it seems to be healing and nothing was torn or so they think

I am soo sorry. The theatre has insurance, and it IS their responsibility. My daughter tripped at the orthodontist when she took her brother to his appointment, and they were good about covering it. My goodness, that's why theatres carry insurance!

I tripped at the theatre, shattered my ankle. Settled with their insurance company for a very nice sum....

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend. Being sick & injured just stinks.
There's a org I heard of on the radio that pairs people w/ extra bales of hay that they don't need w/ people in need of hay. It was on KLOVE if you want to contact them & see if they have the info. I tried googling the story, but couldn't find it.

Oh my gosh. I am so sorry to hear such yucky things!

I have been there, done that in so many ways.

A farmer friend of mine has a person who comes and cleans up broken bales and such in return for keeping the hay they clean up. Maybe this is an ad you could put on CL or something to find someone willing to let you do that?
