Cleaning my practice head
I have cleaned my practice head (from Metina) with wet wipes, rubbing alcohol and nail polish remover. And yet, Lewie is still batman! Any other suggestions? It is paradise paint.
Thank you!

Re: Cleaning my practice head
Mr clean, maybe? works for me, but I bought one at a hairsalon supplystore
And for practice I'm trying not to use the hard coulors...
good luck trying to clean, it's a pain...'
Also spray the head with hairspray before you start painting, it def.helps!
Not that it will help you with this problem your having now, but for the future
Take care, love Jantien

Is your nail polish remover acetone free? A lot of them are, but you need to use one with acetone.
Tea-tree oil also works.

Re: Cleaning my practice head
I clean mine with a mixture of - half orange and eucalyptus oil and a cloth but the green stains the head no matter what I do.. PPl say to use that mixture with a magic eraser. Good luck.
Re: Cleaning my practice head
100 percent acetone! Seriously, I didn't even know there was a difference between acetone nail polish remover and pure acetone. Acetone is spectacular at cleaning my practice head.
Thank you!

Re: Cleaning my practice head
I so want a practice head! But I keep buying more split cakes instead. . . at least if I ever get one, I will know how to clean it!
Re: Cleaning my practice head
Acetone isnt cheap here in Aust. And you use alot more than the oil mixture.. but what ever get her clean, go with it!!
Re: Cleaning my practice head
So summers...you hairsprayed the head under the mask "skin" and it's cleaning off? I haven't dared paint my actual head and the skin mask looks awful.

Re: Cleaning my practice head
I got my acetone at Walmart by the nail polish. I think it was $4 for a large bottle. Since I switch to the acetone I don't even spray it with hairspray. I wipe with a damp cloth or wet wipe to get the surface paint off the swipe with acetone. All clean.
