So a guy walks in to a bar...

Post by bdowns on Thu Sep 01, 2011 2:23 pm

HAHAHAHA... Now that I got your attention... Hi, Im Bobbie from Middle of No Where FL.., really.. my town is so small we do not even have a street light.. I am completely new to face painting, Im actually waiting on my first order of supplies and I couldnt be more excited. Im not sure yet if this is going to be a hobby or something more. This is something I have always wanted to do so I thought I will give it a shot. When I started to research face painting I came across Lisa Joy Young videos.. At that moment I knew this was a craft I had to learn. And the more I looked the more help from others in the field with these awesome crafts were sharing How To's, What you Need, just loads and loads of info. Im excited to be apart of this community.. Please feel free to leave me any suggestions on anything, helpful tips and maybe how to get my 6yr old son to let me paint butterfiles, hearts and unicorns on his face and take pictures.. Thanks and Happy Painting!

Ha ha ha! Love it! Good luck trying to let your son paint butterflies, but I will say I've had a lot of boys ask for them! I'm really glad my little girl likes monsters and things, and will usually let me try out a boy design, unless it's a super hero or something Smile Welcome to the forum! You will LOVE it!!!

LOL, you're so funny!

My 6 y.o. son always runs away whenever he realizes that I'm carrying my paints Rolling Eyes (Bribes often work)

Plus My boy likes butterflys and one of my girls likes monsters. I'm still tring to convince them to swap for a photo.

Ok, with the sleeping model idea: I let my grand-daughter loose with my Wolfe black on her ex-Seal step-daddy. He passed the patience test before I told him secrets to get it off his eyes....gotta find a picture to post---his only comment was that he "looked like a tranny..." (Not the car part...)
