As new as a shiny penny!

Hi there, complete novice here, decided after watching numerous people paint my childrens faces that I would give it a go myself. Still at the very early stages of practicing on people and gathering enough stock to keep me going for a while.
I am very excited but also nervous about my first freebie gig im doing for my friends boys 5th birthday party. Go in at the deep end i say!
Im equipped with Snazeroo and im hoping i will get alot of advice and support from your very selves, I dont believe i am the only new one around!
A bit about me im 30, 2 children Grace 4 George 2, dog Lola and Husband. We live in the Midlands and we are currently saving for a deposit for a new house (face painting is going to help with that too).

Hi there... we were all new once... in fact, some of us still are. Maybe not as shiny, but i think you already know how much you'll love this wonderful forum! Good luck with the party. i completed my very first birthday party (as a painter/twister) yesterday for a 5yo and his 20 or so friends. It was a little wild, but happy!
