Personally, I don't like too many tiny compartments. Because I would never get things put back where they need to go on a gig. I like being able to toss it back in the general area and it be put away. I also like to pack up fast, and if I had to put too many things away, it would take too long.

When I've got my kit set up, I move the pull out tray thing to the flopped over lid. The side closest to me has split/rainbow cakes I use fairly often (but not all the time) The other side has split cakes/rainbow cakes I don't use as freqeuntly, and things like my Wolfe Skins paints, and general horror and gore type stuff.
There is a really big middle part, that I just cover up with my scrapbook case opened out. One side is completely full of paint, and the other side has black and white, 1 glitter in a poofer, and room for a few spit cakes and rainbow cakes that get used very frequently as well as my water and brushes and a few sponges. While packed up I keep some extra paint, my brush holder, and my mirror in there.

On the middle level, I take out just about all the the little dividers (like I said small space is not for me Smile Going from left to right, I've got baby wipes (and my drink goes here), the next one is glitter (several colors), body glue, and a round compartment conainer with different gems and googley eyes. The next two are both sponges.

The enormous bottom. . .I have a bottle of water, maybe 1 liter? A container that used to hold Deli Cat cat food, to dump dirty water, used sponges (I like having a huge open hold for this (less mess). The rest of the space is for my brushes, (they are in a zipper folder when not in use), sunscreen, bug spray, a jacket, any medicine I may need (or might want), A small picture book of ideas, a large picture book of ideas, my sign with warnings/info (rolled up until out and about) and other various things. I like having the big space because I have a few big things that I bring along.

I'm at work right know, Lol I know not working Smile

But I'll try to get a pic tonight, one packed up, one working so you can see what I mean. I hope that's what you were looking for Smile

Sorry, I'm just getting back to this Sad I do stand when I paint. I have to lean over WAY to much if I'm sitting, and it kills my back. I saw on another thread you decided on the Fat Max. How are you liking it?
