Anyone else feels this is kinda retarded?
I mean, who the hell tought it was a good idea to name someone called "wormtongue", chief advisor (or something like that) to the king?
It's clearly not even his last name, but more of a nickname he gained because of his actions and words/advice.
"Wormtongue...yeah, this guy doesn't sound shady at all. Let's make him a vital person in the decision-making process of our country!"
...that's just genius.
Of course, maybe the books offer more insight into this...I only watched the LOTR movies.
