Virtuose brush?

Post by squiggle on Sun Sep 18, 2011 9:26 pm

I received a free brush from silly farm last week and when I used it yesterday for a gig, I absolutely fell in love with it. I could literally paint everything with it- details, fat lines, skinny lines- you name it! BUT when I went to silly farm to order a boat load of these beauties, I could not find them anywhere on the site. They are a red brush, #4, and the only writing on the brush says "Virtuose". Anybody have ANY idea where I can get more of these? I have an email in to silly farm but who knows when they'll ever respond.

Which kind was it? Round? Flat? Filbert? Sounds like a fun new product to try!

It was a #4 round. I've never been able to use one brush for everything... now I can!

Does it have a wooden handle? The description doesn't say.

LOL! I'd like to know if the handles are wooden or plastic(wooden ones don't last as long). I'm at the point where I want to hold my brushes before buying them(does that sound too intimate for ya'll Embarassed ).

I'm such a sucker for a good brush, lol. I ordered some to try and also got another of my favorite Simply Simmons flats. Even with shipping those are great prices, thanks ladies! flower

I received my brushes today (finally!). I'm a little disappointed as far as the #4's I ordered---The one I had received free from sillyfarm had a nice sharp point but these don't. BUT the #3's and #2's all have super nice points.

As far as the handles, they appear to be plastic. I tried to bite on the end and couldn't Wink

I had a 12-hour gig on Saturday and seriously, this #4 brush and a liner brush were the only ones I used all day, except for the 3/4" flat for the small arty cakes. I'm in love! I just hope the new brushes are just as good. It really saves time when I'm not having to change brushes constantly when I have a line a mile long.

And LOL, no, I don't work for the company :-D
