How to keep eyelids from creasing

okay, maybe this has been asked before I don't know, but every time I paint my own face the paint on my eyelids creases. It makes me insane!! What do you all do to keep that from happening?

Personally the only way that I've found that really set the make-up was to apply colour to my eyelids, then immediately apply shimmer powder in the same colour over the eyelid. If you don't have a shimmer powder use eye shadow, or even baby powder in a pinch.

Once I applied the powder to Fardel Creams ... I could NOT remove the colour for days!

Primer - apparently. I haven't used it - but that is what it is used for... to keep everything in place... it also makes your eyeshadow really pop.

Ash uses it in one of her butterfly videos.
I want to get some - but it seems like a luxury so it always goes to the back of the want list.

a bit of foundation works for me. almost as good as primer but cheaper.

as a makeup artist, I always prime the eyes. I have heaps of primers I use, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Mac Paint Pots, Smashbox, Make Up Forever, even a bit of concealer with a touch of powder. cheap concealer works just as well.

eye shadow base..

I always wear my regular makeup under my face paint.

I use a primer for my regular eyeshadow. My eyelids aren't very oily so anything works for me. My fav is MAC shade sticks or Urban Decay.
