Hi everyone!

Hi everyone, I'm am so glad that I found this site as I'm new to face painting. I started painting a few months ago with cubby and cuddles the clown. I love doing this, I have 4 children and they love that their mom gets to practice on them! My 8 year old daughter actually told me last night that she is the luckiest kid she knows because she can have her face painted whenever she wants :-). I can honestly say that I have found something that makes me really happy to do. I love watching the kids and adults eyes light up and the smile come to their face when they look in the mirror. Thanks for having me everyone I hope to learn a few tips and tricks along the way, as well as share.

You are so lucky! I have to bribe my 8 year old to let me paint her, and even then it doesn't always work. Her friends are always up for being painted though. Sometimes they will come to the door and ask if I can paint them today....love when that happens because it is great practice. My son has never let paint touch his face, and my other child is 25...but she actually lets me paint her more often than the 8 year old! It is great fun....welcome!!!!!

Yes, welcome! Enjoy those proffered faces while you can, boys seem to grow out of it...and girls into wanting their entire body painted...

I have a 9 yr old grand-daughter how has become a face-painted snob, she turns her nose up at every event she goes to and says, "I only want my Grandma to paint me..."--which makes me happy that no craft paint touches that pretty face...but she hours and states away, so I miss her in that regard also!

Welcome!!! Such a good feeling to find something you love to do, right? My kids really have to be in the right mood to be painted. Course, it wasn't always that way...what a difference a few years can make.
