What's with this new trend?

So... lately I have been getting a ton of requests for little (or pre-teen girls) for mustaches! Have any of you experienced that lately? I just did a party the other day and I swear I painted 10 mustaches on girls!

With eyebrows!

That's when having a mustache menu is fantastic!

I had a mother request a mustache on a baby boy at my last party. He looked adorable but luckily I haven't had a party with requests for any. I know if I were to get a party full of pre-teens I'd get a bunch of requests for it. It's "in" right now.

I know...I told these 4 girls that they were so beautiful that I wanted to put pretty things on them. I could tell that at least one of them wasn't into it but oh, well. I only charged them a couple of bucks. Gave them my card and told them we should have a pretty party.

I bought some little stash stencils from Faketoos...the kind you put on your finger for just such an occasion.

I HAD IT LAST WEEKEND! 2 preteen girls came up asking for handlebar mustaches. Cracked me up. They were sooooooooooooooooooo happy. Way I look at it. Money is money and they want a stash I can paint you a stash.


@Denise I got the finger stashes too from Faketoos! They actually sent them without me ordering them to fill a full sheet of tats. Too cute.

Ahahaha, at the NY State Fair, I painted one on my finger and then hid in another vendors booth between racks, I stepped out, looked around suspiciously and then said to the young couple near me "If anyone asks, you didn't see me...oh crap, I forgot my disguise" And then I put my fingerstache up under my nose. The girl just about died laughing and told me I made her whole day! I spent the rest of the day doing that to people in random booths. Ha ha ha I get a few stache requests here and there. It's alot of fun!

It's happening here in Cleveland, Ohio - last summer at three separate events I had requests for mustaches from teen girls. Not sure what is driving this???

Yeah....I had a gig recently where I did a butterfly with a mustache and a Captain America with one. The fingerstache thing is kinda fun for older kids that don't necessarily want face painting, but putting mustaches on other stuff....I don't know what the deal is on that.

brilliant, I am gonna get on this one right away. I got a special invite thing from vista print with allowed me to upload unlimited photos for free on a free product and only pay shipping. I got cards and post cards, and next, I mustache menu! Love it!

Yup I have a menu of 50 mustaches, and they are most commonly requested by teen girls! weird isnt it?
