So cute!! They both look great! Just curious, what book did you see that kitty with tail in? That's a rendition of my kitty design which won 2nd in the 2008 Summer Free-for-All comp at Snaz. scratch

Angie, this is not a rendition... It's the same design!! (at least, it's exactly the same for me...). Even the tail... cyclops

It is a book of Eulenspiegel.
See my last trade in the swap shop.

Thanks Anita. That irks me. I love that they even put "original" in the title. Evil or Very Mad

Wow, that is the same! Angie will you be able to do anything about it?

Of course, now that I have said I was going to "steal it" I am feeling a little sheepish! lol I really was just trying to be funny. I would love to try it, though!

I don't have the courage to try in those contests yet... maybe one day.

Oh hey, steal away. Very Happy Using the idea isn't at all the same as taking it and publishing it in a book to sell for profit.

Anita, yeah that tail idea is why the design came in 2nd in the contest, because it was original. (It definitely wasn't my painting skills, because the kitty itself coulda been a lot better! I entered it on a whim and was really shocked when it placed.) I checked the book you said it was in, and it was published in 2010. The photo contest on the Snazaroo site was 2008, so mine predates the book. I don't know HOW similar the book design is, but based on the pic you showed (which was adorable by the way!) it's pretty close.

Meh, there's nothing I can do. It's just irritating. I've pretty much sworn off "sharing" these days. I've had so many of my photos stolen and used, ideas and designs used and the copycats taking full credit... it's not a big deal, but after numerous repeated episodes it gets depressing.
