I'm looking for a red paint that makes good looking blood...

I have Snaz and Paradise, and although the Paradise looks brown, it kind of goes on a berry kind of red. I was hoping I could find a paint that makes a good blood drip color... any ideas? Thanks!

what color paradise do you have? I have red, metallic Cherry and Berry. Berry is great for your wet looking red because it is brighter. regular red is better for a darker dried blood color.

I have the paradise sampler palette. That way I could figure out what paint colors I use most and go from there.

Blood isn't bright red. Mix a teeny tiny touch of blue, and you will have true blood red.

I got a little bottle of mehron blood at our costume shop, I use it instead of paint. It goes on looking like wet blood, then dries to look like dried blood. It takes forever to dry, but so far, so good. I may look for something else once this is gone.

Use it only for FX not for a whole face!!

For larger arias i mix up DFX red and black.

I like to mix the Paradise Beachberry with a little black.
