Sponges - Snazzaroo and Wolfe

Post by GingerKitty0304 on Wed Oct 05, 2011 8:08 pm

I'm a new face painter and I ordered a whole bunch of sponges to try them out.. I ordered WAY too many of the Wolfe High Density sponges (I have them all cut into halves) and I have the Snazzaroo teardrop sponge circle thingie that I just didn't care for. The Wolfe sponges are completely unused, and the Snazzaroo sponges I only used a few times on my own face to test it them out.

I don't really know what to ask for, but I have my very first gig coming up in November, so just make an offer!!

Maybe you should reconsider getting rid of them. I think you can never have too many sponges. They get stained and old. I like to have fresh sponges avail for every gig alone with some that are not so ugly looking. I've also seen some use the tear drop on rainbow cakes to make flower petals. Just thought I'd toss out my 2 cents since you mentioned your new. Oh and Congratulations of your first gig!! Have fun!

I agree with Tasha, you can never have too many sponges! Just put them in a large ziplock bag and hold on to them, you'll be glad you did!

yeah - you will use these for sure.

I have bought more sponges then I ever thought I would and the teardrop shape is really good for getting in the small eye area on a little kid.

As for the Snazaroo ones....cut the tips off. If yu can shorten the tear drops and round the ends...they are perfect for swiping across a rainbow cake and...voila a butterfly wing is born.
