ps: you can likely raise your prices - your quality of work is great! Debi and I are on the low end of $100 for the 1st hour and $75 for additional and we get tons of business. In fact, I got *more* when I raised my prices from 80/65 to 100/75 Your area is maybe a teensy bit more depressed than ours, but ours is suffering too... not face painting though Just wanted to throw out the idea for ya

I am about an hour south of Harrisburg. I live 5 minutes from the Maryland line.

I actually work in Hargerstown Md and am about 30-45 minutes from Frederick MD.

OMG, then you *definitely* have lots of room to raise your prices, girl!!! That is the area we are in... and we are too low! I thought you were in Waynesboro up north, in north/central PA.

Did your hubby want your prices higher or lower?

haha we started at $100 an hour and it has gone down to what it is now.

Since he couldnt get any bites in the area he wanted to make it more appealing by lowering them.

I would love to have those prices, because paints are not cheap and time away from my little babies costs money too. (they way I look at it, every hour I'm painting is an hour lost from family time, so it better be worth it!)
